From Vienna to London in 18 days
Joseph Haydn went on two concert tours to London between 1790 and 1795. Before his departure he wiped out the concerns of his worried friend Mozart by saying “My language is understood throughout the world!”
The private life and creative work of Joseph Haydn is so comprehensively portrayed in the exhibition like nowhere else. In carefully reconstructed rooms, including kitchen and bedroom, we encounter Joseph Haydn in such a variety of ways that only a few people know of.
